What your organisation could gain

HOBC is seeking established, capable organisations that want to bring credible products and services to Australian households. Potential partner arrangements include visibility on relevant service pages, participation in campaigns, enquiries from interested members, joint promotions and mutually agreed commercial referral or revenue-sharing arrangements.

Any commission, referral percentage, fee, payment timing, exclusivity, lead qualification standard and refund treatment must be negotiated and recorded in a separate signed partner agreement. There is no automatic entitlement to a percentage or guaranteed number of customers.

We are particularly interested in businesses able to offer genuine, clearly described member advantages such as a competitive quote, an exclusive promotion, improved service access or a defined benefit.

Business partners meeting

Customer introductions

Receive relevant enquiries where consent, suitability and commercial terms permit.

Campaign collaboration

Explore co-branded promotions, sector features and special member campaigns.

Commercial arrangements

Negotiate commissions or other commercial models where lawful and appropriate.

Partner eligibility: Australian-registered business or appropriately established organisation; valid ABN where required; relevant licences, registrations, accreditation and insurance; capacity to service enquiries; transparent pricing and consumer terms; and willingness to comply with applicable Australian consumer, privacy and sector-specific laws. HOBC may request supporting documents and decline unsuitable applications.

How referral and commission arrangements work

Illustrative example only: a participating home-services business may agree in writing to pay a referral fee after a valid introduction leads to a completed and paid service. The agreement would define the fee or percentage, GST treatment, attribution rules, reporting, cancellation and dispute handling. Different sectors require different rules, and regulated financial products may restrict referral payments or require specific disclosures and authorisations.

Organisations can also propose a member discount, complimentary consultation, priority service or seasonal promotion. HOBC reviews proposed offers before publishing them, and partners remain responsible for accurately describing and fulfilling their own products and services.
